I live in a part of Pleasanton where foundation settling is a known problem. I noticed several cracks in drywall at the corners of door frames and called Foundation Solutions. Scott happened to be in Pleasanton the day after my call and stopped by to discuss my concerns. He did a walk through of the interior and exterior of the house. He spent a great deal of time educating my wife and me about foundations and what can cause problems to arise. He provided thorough answers to all of our questions and never was pushy or salesy.
I was concerned about foundation issues at our home and Ryan came out within a couple of days of my calling (Patricia was very helpful and communicative in scheduling). More important, he evaluated all of my concerns, checked measurements all over the house, and determined that we did not have a foundational problem at all. He recommended a structural engineer to speak to regarding my (likely more cosmetic) needs, and was off on his merry way. I reached out to these folks based on prior Yelp reviews noting the same thing— honest appraisals— and appreciate Ryan providing me that. Maybe next time?
Ultimately, taking projected costs, repair methods, and quality of client interaction into account, we decided to go with Foundation Solutions. And we are glad we did — from the first phone call to the last day of the project, Jordan and Ryan and the rest of the team worked hard and delivered excellent results. The entire project took about seven days, and at the end, we came in at $1,500 under budget. I’d like to commend the team particularly on their service and efficiency. After the project was completed, the major cracks in the walls and ceiling have come back together…and we can open our front door again! We are pleasantly surprised that the most difficult part of foundation repair was just finding the right company to work with. Thanks, Jordan and the FS team!

Ram Jack installed foundation supports under my house in 2005. I had questions about possibly adding another couple of supports after all the rain we had recently. They came out the very next day. Colin read through the original work order and explained to me where the piers were located and how much support they gave the foundation. That information has given me comfort knowing my house is safe. It was so good to know I could still rely on them after 18 years.

5 stars for a great service and expertise. I called Foundation to schedule an engineer to come out and look into the creaking into our floor. Jordan came out, diagnosed the problem and found the cause by getting down and dirty by crawling under the house. He gave me a detailed explanation on what was causing the creaking and also gave me recommendations on how I could fix the problem myself. For all the work Jordan did, there was no charge!
